Please be aware that our hybrid program is a full time program. Even though the program is hybrid, and there is some flexibility in attending the virtual portion, students are still expected to attend class and be in the virtual classroom 6-8 hours a day. Students must meet mandatory check-in points in order to successfully pass the virtual portion. Each "part" takes around 18-22 hours to complete. Failure to follow these guidelines will see a student removed from the virtual classroom,.

Students who successfully complete our CNA program are fully eligible to take their state CNA exam through Headmaster LLP., and register as a CNA with the state of Michigan once they successfully take and pass their state exam.

Please note that students must be 17 or older to enroll in our CNA program.
Submit your application and payment. If using a sponsorship or scholarship, please be sure to make a notification of that upon completing your application.If you wish to use a payment plan, there are several options available to you to help pay for class!
PES staff will review your application, make sure that it meets all requirements and you will receive your welcome email ONE WEEK before the start of class. Then you start class on your chosen date! It's that simple! (If something is missing or wrong, we will reach out regarding your application.)

2.5 Week Classes
In Person Lab Days 8AM-4 PM EST
In Person Clinical Days 7:30 AM-3:30 PM EST
Virtual classroom opens at 12:01 AM on the date the class starts (SEE BELOW). The virtual portion of our class runs for TWO WEEKS with checkin points being required to be met. Week 3, lab and clinicals will be completed IN PERSON at our training center and clinical site. Announcements are made regarding this in the virtual class once class has begun.
Please note that hybrid training is still FULL TIME. Students are expected to put in a minimum of 6-8 hours per day in the virtual classroom. This course is NOT self-paced. Students who do not meet check in points will fail the course, and no refund will be issued.
CLASSROOM INFORMATION:
The virtual classroom opens up at 12:01 AM EST on the first day of class. (See Training Dates for more information.)
Students are required to be in the virtual classroom for 2 weeks and to meet the required checkpoints. (Students not successful in the virtual classroom will not be able to attend lab and clinicals, and will fail the course.)
Lab and Clinicals will be during Week 3 of the class.
Lab days are 8 AM-4PM EST
Clinical Days are 7:30AM-3:30 PM EST
Students are required to have black scrubs for lab and clinical days; PES does not supply these.
For example:
Class starts January 1. Online and lecture Class will run through Friday January 12th.
Monday January 14th, in person lab and clinicals begin for week 3.
COURSE PACING:
The virtual course has built in due dates to ensure that you are staying on track and on path for on time completion.
This means that each "PART" or section of the course is to be done by a certain day and time. If not, you will be automatically removed from the classroom; absolutely no extensions will be offered to any student for any reason. It is incredibly important that you stay on task during your time in the virtual classroom.
As a reminder, because this is a full time class, we do not recommend working full time and attempting this class; you will fail.
Each "part" takes anywhere from 18-24 hours to complete. Please be mindful of this as you are working your way through the course.
Failure to follow these course pacing guidelines will see you automatically removed from the course, and you will receive a failure for the course. No refunds will be issued for those who fail the course.
COURSE ASSISTANCE:
A PES state certified instructor is available for any assistance in the virtual classroom Monday-Friday from 8AM-8PM EST.
We provide support via Zoom, email, and phone if necessary.
Contact information for your instructor is provided the first day of class. Please be sure to follow all instructions for assistance in the virtual classroom.
If you would like to make arrangements to come in to our computer lab to use our laptops, wifi, and books, please feel free; staff are available Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM EST.
Students are expected to be in the classroom working Monday-Friday for a minimum of 6-8 hours per day; no exceptions. Failure to do this will see you removed from the classroom and fail the course.
Students are required to have a laptop or tablet to attend class. They should not be attempting to complete coursework on a mobile device; our LMS is not designed to work with mobile websites or cell phones. This is on purpose.
There is an e-book included in your class and with tuition. if you need a hard copy of the book, you are welcome to purchase directly from Amazon or the manufacturer. PES also has older editions of our book to purchase as well.
All students are required to have a tb test ready to upload the first day of class. You can either obtain a quantiferon blood test or a tb skin test; all are accepted.
Please be sure to check your spam or junk settings for your login information; this comes directly from our LMS system, Moodle.
PES staff can see everything that you do within the LMS system, so please be mindful of this when attending our program. Cheating is strictly prohibited.
